(Draft at Mother Kelly's Bethnal Green, London, 21 Nov 2025) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted, hoppy nose with coffee, citrus, grapefruit and pine needles. Malty, roasted, hoppy taste with notes of coffee, citrus, grapefruit, chocolate, pine needles, mint and a generous citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, dry. Hoppy and well made black IPA. Very nice.

Prost had run out of Unity's Black IPA so they sent me a replacement from the opposite end of the country:) Chocolate brown. Thick foamy beige head. The aroma is quite probably fridge jetlagged. However it does rise to the snozz challenge - herbal, coffee, sharp fruit and berries. Tangy fruit and berries. Followed by a bitter resinous coffee (is that a thing?). Light-medium bodied. Slick to oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation, although it's somewhat relaxed. Dry somewhat astringent finish. Perky.

Can from Against The Grain. Dark brown body with a tan head. Low carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of pine and caramel. Flavour of orange pith and grapefruit with a bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Piney and hoppy, very nice.
