Bottle picked up by my pal Lucky Otter. Hazed gold. Lovely soppy white head. Nose has watery whisky. Bit of oak. Fusty citrus. Semi sweet grain in the background. Taste has some vanilla oak sweetness getting nicely dry and bitter. Slick and warming overall with soft rolling carbonation. Touch of boozy oak to finish. It’s a million miles away from the mess that is Belgian Blue.
