Hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Crispy palate. Rich lagerish malt - never cloying thanks to the crispness. The hops are well balanced for the style, that is not dominant subtle pine and a little orange citrus. Finishes crisp with mild nutty malt in the aftertaste and a carbonated sting. Double Pilsner eh? Works for me - refreshing!

light golden color. Lots of crack wheat, toasted malts, slightly boozy and warming finish, but smooth and overall well made

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Sweet malty nose with lovely flowery hops while the alcohol is pretty well hidden. Rich body, sweet malts and again these delicious grassy, flowery hops. Subtle bitterness and a surprisingly well hidden alcohol. Lovely! 030612

12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy gold color with a medium dissipating white head. Aroma is biscuity and toasted bread with a hint of fruity funkiness. There’s also a hint of rubber in there, too. Taste starts out sweet and a little fruity with some earthiness and finishes with a lingering hoppy bitterness. Has a creamy mouthfeel and a medium body. Nice beer, but there are better imperial pilsners out there.

Hazy straw colour. The aroma is a lot of grain and straw. Some earthy bitterness but this is mostly about the malts. These are sweet and husky at the same time, and there is some alcohol in the finish.

Meet the Brewer event at CP&K, Pimlico. Half pint from keg. Deep golden body, bare naked surface. Modest aroma of grassy hops and pale malts. Grainy malts and grassy hops in flavour. Sweet fruity ending with noticeable alcohol. Soft carbonated. Alright, but a bit heavy to drink (London, 30.07.2011).
