350ml can. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney, fruity, minimally floral, hoppy aroma, notes of melon, mandarine, hints of pineapple and lychee, caramel malty background. Taste is initially slightly sweet caramel malty, fruity, notes of melon, a touch of lychee, later more and more bitter hoppy, slightly grassy and minimally floral, asymptotically tending towards mineral mineral; soft palate. An IPA with real development of taste over time and palatal regions.

Can at salthorse. Pours hazy pale orange, nose is floral, herbal, light citrus, taste is sweet, pithy orange, light caramel.

350ml can from Salt Horse. Pours clear golden amber with a thick white head. Aromas of crystal malt, resin, dank hops. Pretty classic US IPA nose. Taste is marmalade, pine again, some green plant stalks and a big whack of crystal malt. Oily texture, green - bitter finish.

Can. A- Passion fruit, mango, pineapple, tropical fruits, caramel, bread, subtle hops. A- Golden orange color, clear liquid, white head T- Juicy fruits, subtle pine, slightly bitter, caramel, tangerines. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- I am really falling in love with IPAs and Pale Ales in Japan. They do it without being super aggressive like in America. This one was full of citrus and a bit of caramel and biscuits to balance it out. Very tasty.

Can from a Lawson’s in Shibuya. Golden-amber. Thin head. Old school c hop nose with a lot of chewy malts on the palate. Moderate bitterness, big chewy malts and a fairly strong alcohol finish. Clean, but old fashioned and just a lot chewier than I would prefer.

Can from Cotteridge Wines; clear burnished amber pour with a big frothy off white head, aroma has caramel and some tangerine, taste has sweet malts, a hint of mango, tangerine, moderate bitterness.

12 ounce can. Pours a clear orange color with a large white head. A big sweet fruity caramel nose. Big biscuits, lemons, bready, soft perfume. Solid. Very light.

Can brought by Benzai, medium sample. Clear orange color, short frothy head. Aroma of grassy and piney hop, some caramel. Bit malty in taste, caramel, soft bitterness. Ok stuff.

Juice can poured. Bright orange pour with an endless foam head and lacing. Big leather hop profile. Soft fruit aroma, with some grains. Slightly bitter on the finish. Strange brew, but it’s not bad. Unique, unidentifiable flavor usually leads to drinkability for me. Fun to try.
