Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8.5
Cask. Chesterfield Arms. On the missus’ birthday. Clear dark brown. Slightly bubbly (definitely down to the server) lasting beige foam. Could have looked a 5 tbh. Anyway. Dry roast malt. Earthy slightly fruity coffee bean. Hint of dark chocolate. Taste is dry earthy and fruity bitter. Flicker of dark chocolate sweetness. Super easy drinking. I think I did a pint in about 5 minutes. Could have done several similarly quick. Great stout in prime nick.
