Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: pale golden yellow color with no head and obviously no lace.
Aroma: sweet lemon pulp with a touch of tart; light funk, clean oak; musty/clean basement scents; light honey, hay/straw; subtle sweet vinous with some sweet grains
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine tart to sweet to sour quality; finishes mostly with a lemon tart to semi-dry and vinous to hay/straw quality
Texture: medium bodied, great as a sipper!; clean smoothness but also a little bit of vinous acidity nipping at the tongue ever so slightly in a non-offensive way
Overall: a very nicely done sour ale I was going to have with my girlfriend at the time but she died before we could have it together.

Bottle. Craft Beer Cellar, Waterbury, VT. Holy shit, I’d love to get back there. Hazed pale gold. No head. Nose has soft, fusty lemon funk. Fresh cut oak. Honeyed grain. Taste has a little sweetness, with a bit of dry tartness. Clean palate. Light and brisk carbonation. Semi dry and tart finish. Nice one. Wish it was a 750.
