Danish tasting session; vintage 2011, 2+ years old; bb 28.07.2016; Jan 2014
Hazy amber color with small head. Malt aroma with some vegetables notes. Some aroma of malt and bread and raisins. Good body; malt flavor, sweet, with low bitterness, fruity touch, not much character, but not bad at all.

Bottle, 75cl, from trade with Papsoe. A clear, amber beer, topped by a finger-thick, beige head. There’s pale malts and sugar in the aroma, with alcohol and some faint acetone chiming in. I’ve awarded a 6 for both aroma and flavor, but that’s just because I’m a nice guy, and skipped the 5 I was thinking of for some time. The flavor is pretty much in the same track as the aroma, sugar and malts in the back, some dried fruits, as well as alcohol. Lightly warming on the palate, full-bodied and nicely carbonated, with some bitterness towards the end. Well, even though I’m a bit disappointed, I can’t say it’s a bad beer in any way, so I’ll have to rethink my rating when I pop the other bottle. 111229

750 ml bottle. Clear, dark, reddish golden body with a small off-white head. Quite nice in aroma, caramel, dry fruit and some alcohol. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, some dry fruit and alcohol. The flavors are not in balance and this beer is not as pleasant to drink as expected. Aroma and body is fine but the unbalance in flavors makes a rather dull total impression.
