Crack out the festive sweaters because ’tis the season to be jolly. German malts, Belgium candi sugar and French farmhouse yeast make this Saison de Noël complex, tart and more fruity than a dollop of cranberry sauce.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy, reddy amber. Skim of off white head. Nose has toasty, granary malts. Fruity and estery. Notes of cranberry and coriander. Don’t get the juniper in this, but the rest comes together well. Taste is bready sweet, with the cranberry giving a little tang. Nice mouthfeel. Soft and foamy. Cranberry tang on the finish.
