Tap. Reservoir, Waterbury, VT. Clear gold. Thin, lasting, white head. Nose is biscuity and a bit worty. Some stewed hop. Not a great deal else. Taste is nicely balanced juicy sweet and earthy bitter. Medium, slightly oily mouthfeel. Mostly sweet finish, turning more bitter on the close. Decent beer, other than the worty, unfinished aroma.

Tulip pour at The Reservoir.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange to yellow color with a thin white little head. Messy to speckled lacing clings around the glass.
The smell had some sweet onion, sweet grass, light grapefruit. Light pine is the bitterness underneath (extremely light but there).
The taste took all of those previously mentioned flavors and combined but came across super light. It actually came across more bitter than sweet.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body making it definitely session worthy. Carbonation runs light allowing the bitterness to hit adequately.
Overall, as a session IPA it works. I could have again as is. But definitely treat this as a session IPA and one won’t be disappointed.
