Tap, at the Pine Street brewery. Deep amber. Soft haze. Ring of off white head. Nose has toasty, buttery malts. Some dried berry fruit. Hint of vanilla. Some woody hop. Taste is straight up sweet and malty. Soft, slightly flabby mouthfeel. Malty sweetness on the finish.

Poured into a pilsener glass, the appearance was a ruddy burnt orange to amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head. Sly messy lacing after dissipation.
The aroma blends toasty malts with a sly caramel to toffee tones. Grassy hops.
The flavor leans malty sweet with the roast entering in nicely. Lingering malty toasty aftertaste leading into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it.
Overall, good amber lager that I could have again.
