A summery fresh 3.3% dark ale - like a mint choc chip ice cream or After Eight! Mint leaves added during the brew make for a sprightly light chocolate beer.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small beige head. Only aroma I could detect was a vague hint of cigarette ash ! As you might expect, it the mouth the main flavours are mint and chocolate, with some vanilla and dark fruits. Finish is fruity. It’s a bit of a nothing beer really.

Clear, dark copper colour. Thin, bubbly, beige head. Nose has a toffee, nutty and fruity character, with a soft, After Eight mint background. Taste has a minty sweetness. Light dryness. Palate is light and smooth. Bit of vine fruit dryness to finish. Nice mild.
