Cask. Rutland Arms, Sheffield. Clear, very dark brown. Creamy, thick, bubble troubled, sticky, tan head. Looks great. Head looks like a thick chocolate milkshake. Nose has thick, roast chocolate malts. Some vinous fruits. Earthy, grassy hop. Some spicy hop. Taste has a treacle sweetness, turning spicy, earthy bitter. Full bodied. Slick mouthfeel. Drinks under the ABV. Robust bitter finish. I added this as a BIPA, but it could pass as a stout easily enough. Either way, itโ€™s very decent.
