Cask. Gravity dispense. 41st Steel City Beer Festival. Thick as a bag, dark Amber. Bubbly, off white head. Wow. That’s some aroma. Apple pomace. Damson. Vomit. Dung. Cut grass. Bark. Wow, again. Taste is soft, earthy bitter. Has a fruity sweetness. Salt on the lips. Tastes way better than it smells. Full body, with the sour tang and decent carbonation making it easy drinking. Finishes earthy, fruity, tangy bitter. Mouth cleansing acidity on the close. A beer of two halves.
