A banger of a sour ale. Loads of raspberry and blueberry, nice, really balanced acidity, balanced with some nice sweetness. Excellent.

Can from Kerrera, Guildford. Cloudy scarlet with a Pale tinged. Frothy purple head is very noisy - starts off quite impressively but then expands too much energy and eventually almost entirely disappears. Aroma is sugar topped berries with a punchy tart sour edge. Sour. Tart. Yep, certainly tart. But also chock full of berries. The sour and vinous streak dismisses any attempts at jammy sweetness. Pulp and skins appear into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick verging on creamy. Long dry very astringent finish. A pallet load of berries and sourness just got dumped in my gob (in a good way). Afternote: creamy sweetness gradually appears as I drink on. Also, I watch a film whilst drinking I realise that the Queens's Jam is Bexky qnd her wrath taking out those neo-Nazis.

Draught @ Craft Beer Winter Wonderland, Helsinki. Tart, slightly sour and heavy with raspberry juice, blueberry jam and mild earthiness. A bit sweetish and easy going. Lacks complexity.
