Draught @ Brewdog Helsinki. Malty, heavy and slightly boozy with some syrup, caramel, toffee, earthiness and harsh grainy hoppiness. A bit unbalanced, a bit boozy

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
(Keg at Panema Kallio, 20200211) The beer poured deep amber and lightly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, toffee, raisins and malts. Palate was full bodied and lightly warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, raisins, toffee, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, sweet, malty and bitter. Quite hoppy barley wine showing some excessive sweet notes. Could improve with ageing.
