0.5l can. Black body with a huge light briown head. Carbonated with CO2 so no usual cascading effect after the pour. The roasted malts are pronounced, but it has way less of the coffee aroma and taste than the regular Guinness. This one also has more dark fruity and raisin-like character. A bit of floral hops, chocolate and some spicy yeast appears too to make the beer more complex. Very nice.

330ml bottle as Antwerpen Stout. Pours black with a large beige head. Aroma of dried fruits, liquorice, roasted malts, oak, hint of chocolate. Taste of dried fruits, liqourice, roasted malts, chocolate, sweet and fruity with a roasty bitterness, hint of oak throughout. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Nice, probably the best beer I've had from Guinness actually.

New Beer Distributors, NYC bottle: pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is chocolate and molasses and some stuff like that. Taste is sweet and somewhat bitter. Chewy body.

Very interesting, shocked I've never tried this before. Sort of have to stretch to find the regular guinness here.

Would be perfect on a rainy fall day with a book.

Solid foreign stout. Nearly as good as the Caribbean version but not quite. Dry but with some zibg like English humour. Black pour with decent head and lacing. Roast and nut. Thick and creamy pour. Bitter finish. Hint of caramel. Bottle.

330ml bottle of Antwerpen Stout, from Tesco, Warfield. An opaque mahogany coloured pour with an amber glint and a loose beige head; rich aroma of mollasses with a touch of spice; taste of burnt sugar with some coffee and licorice; and a cinder toffee finish. rather good.

330ml Antwerpen from Tesco - Solid black body, thick tan head. Looks great. Nose is burnt grains and nuts, lots of coffee grinds, bit of smoke and liquorice. Taste is fine, not as powerful as expected, a little muted version of all the aroma notes. Good mouthfeel though, big and syrupy. ABV well masked.
