Crisp copper and bronze coloured body with a light off-white and tan head along with a bit of larger bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of noticeable alpha acids and hops! While this shouldn't be surprising, from this brewpub, I was surprised by that! Aroma also included some citrus fruit, more pine and malt notes and a touch of perfume towards the end. Medium-bodied; Nice balance of malt and hops here and yes, the hops here are seemingly fresh and seem more from the Pacific NorthWest and range from citrus to pine and a dash of perfumey and lightly floral elements, all with a nice malt balance. Aftertaste has a touch of light sweetness from resin and honey with the majority of the flavours come from the piney and citrusey hops which show well at the end. Overall, a nice beer and easily the best beer from the BrewPub and the only one that I'd get again. I sampled this four ounce pour on draught, as part of the full nine-beer lineup sampling, from the brewpub/brewery in Rapid City, South Dakota, just hours after landing in the state [for the first time, ever] on 25-June-2020 for US$12,25 (for all nine beers!).
