Fairly hazy golden coloured body that is around 60 per cent opaque, all with a very thin, single centimetre tall just off-white head that fades very quickly. Looks sort of like a wheat ale or an American attempt (which it is, of course) at a Hef, but not as unfiltered, at least in appearance. Aroma of wheat, grass, yeast, light coriander seed and some bubble gum, but missing are the orange/curacao notes and especially any of the spice note or enjoyable yeast kick. Light to Medium-bodied; Relatively strong grassy and herbal flavours at first that start out pungent but give way to some of the wheat and light biscuity malt notes with a small dose of yeast towards the finish, but not showing a nice German or Belgian yeast strain, this also has some light hop notes, but not much bitterness at all, just some grassy notes. Aftertaste is dry and fairly malty with some light bitterness and a dash of sugars, but this is a relatively clean wheat and yeast bite with little else. Overall, a decent enough Wheat, but their other beers (while I had them at the source) were better options than this, which I was still happy to try! I sampled this sixteen ounce pint, on draught at Big Time Pizza in Hot Springs, South Dakota on 29-June-2020 for US$5,00 while on vacation with my family.
