Tap at the brewdog shepherds bush. A dark black mahogany brown coloured pour with a fine light tan head. Aroma is big burnt black sugars, speckuloos, maple, brown sugars, liquorice toasted cinnomnon bun. Flavour is composed of medium sweet. Speckuloos, maple, brown sugars, sticky brown sugars, maple. Lovely. Palate is rounded, sticky mellow carbonation, lingering cinnamon and maple spices.

Keg at BD Castlegate. It pours opaque jet black with a small tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, heady and intoxicating... rich roasted malt, warming cinnamon spice, cinnamon bun, cinnamon crunch, toasted brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla sugar, , tar and dark roasted black coffee. The taste is slick and oily upfront, then you get hit with both sweetness and spice, mostly warming cinnamon, but also nutmeg, wood bark, dark roasted malt, burnt toast, American style black coffee, tar, vanilla sugar, cake frosting, cinnamon bun, toasted brown sugars, dark/dried fruits, fruit loaf, maple glazed donut and some alcohol booooosssst with a dry, bitter roasted finish. Fulsome body, fine carbonation and sticky mouth feel. A bit sweet for my personal preference, but it is fun. Feels very 'Merican in style
