Can picked up in Dundee. It pours darkest brown - black with a small khaki head. The aroma is sweet, rich roasted malt, milk chocolate, ripe jammy cherry, black forest gateaux and a touch of coffee. The taste is dry, rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, earthy, slightly charred, jammy ripe cherry, black forest gateaux, dried berries and touch of tang with a smooth fruity finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Balanced and quaffable.

Bottle from Balgove Larder. Dark brown body with a few chunks beneath a beige head. Low carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of nuts, mashed strawberry and chocolate. Flavour of rust, chocolate and vanilla. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. It doesnβt look great with all the chunks, but it tastes fantastic.
