Can from Aldi Inverurie. It pours deep blonde - light brown with a lasting frothy white cap. The aroma is bitter - sweet, earthy, woody, nutty, cereal, rivita and toasty grain. The taste is dry, nutty, woody, bitter - sweet, toasty grain, cereal, leather, rivita, spicy, floral accents and a touch of boozey heat with a drying, woody finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. A big turbo bitter. Decent gear.

Can (6.5% ABV) from Aldi. Hazy deep golden body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel, honey and dried leaves. Flavour of stewed tea, rust and caramel. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. A well balanced, interesting beer. It’s like a turbocharged bitter.
