Keg at St Andrews Caird Hall. It pours darkest brown to black with a small, but lasting tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, dark fruits, plum, prune, date, cherry, umami, salted liquorice, roasted malt, jam, light vinous, booze soaked oak, vanilla and some rocky road. The taste is dry, rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, umami, loads of dried fruits, spice, warming booze, charred oak, liquorice, peppery vibes, dried fruits, fruit cake, slightly jammy, raisin, sultana, glace cherry, toothy, wood, fruity whisky, plain chocolate and some toffee with h a fruity, roasty finale. Lighter end of full body, and fine to moderate carbonation. Super rounded and well integrated combo. Fun
