Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours crystal clear gold with a thick fluffy white head. The aroma is bright and juicy, it's all about fresh ripe pineapple, some other tropical vibes, lychee, guava, quite fragrant and some bubblegum. The taste is crisp and firmly dry upfront, snappy, grassy bitterness, straw, peppery spice, then the juicy pineapple creeps in, ripe and tropical. Finishes up dry with lingering grassy bitterness. Average body and moderate, lively carbonation. Well realised. Big juicy fresh pineapple is there, but it still has the snappy bitter grassy vibes of of a pils. Well done.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden and bright with a huge, creamy, white head. Nose - pineapple, lemon and passionfruit. It's a bit subtle. Taste - big juicy, fresh pineapple note this time round. No mistaking it's in there. Again, a touch of citrus, probably lemon again. Palate - light bodied, dry refreshing finish with a pretty good linger. Overall - enjoyable. The crisp pilsner style keeps the ripe pineapple in check.
