Keg at BD Flagship. It pours hazy deep purplish brown with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet - sour, tart, tangy, juicy, vanilla cola, dark fruits, berry, must, touch of sherbet / sour candy, berry jam, cherry bakewell tart and Victoria sponge cake. The taste is tart, tangy, sweet - sour, musty, funky, wet wood, vanilla, splash of red wine vinegar, red berry, dark fruits, a bit of spice, Dr Pepper, cola and light tannin with a drying, woody finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Plenty going on, but I'm not sure the balance is quite there. A touch muddled maybe? Fun stuff anyhow.
