Keg at Six. D it pours dark brown to black with a tan head. The aroma is sweet, earthy, perfumed, aniseed, cedar, cocoa, dark chocolate and toasted marshmallow. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, charred wood, big cedar character, rich roasted malt, umami, liquorice, charcoal, peppery spice, burnt wood and a bit of alcohol warmth. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Punchy and flavourful. Fun stuff.
