Cask at Euston Tap West Lodge. It pours deep dark brown with medium off-white head. The aroma is toasty, juicy, been bread, dried fruits, fruit cake, cacao, wood, pine and hop sack. The taste is dry, bitter, toasted nut, wood, leather, resin, pine, pithy citrus, brown bread, chewy malt and burnt fruit cake with a lingering drying mouth - feel. Medium body and soft, but we'll carbonated for a cask ale. Well rounded. A decent hoppy brown ale. Very drinkable.
