Tap at the brewery. An absolute delight. On the dollar from beavertown as usual. Smooth and not rough at all but having more than enough flavour. Not sure there was a huge amount of โfruit and nutโ. I was getting a but of smoke and Choc but hey. Lovely. One of the best imperial stouts ive had.

Keg at Beavertown. It pours jet black with sturdy tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, decadent, tar, charred wood, coffee, unami, fruit & nut dairy milk, mocha, earthy, booze and white sugar. The taste is rich roasted malt, decadent, bitter - sweet, milk chocolate, coffee, spice, liquorice, dried fruits, fruit cake, umami, mocha, earthy roast, spice, warming alcohol and burnt toast with a drying finish. Full body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Not actually as much depth as you would expect. Fun stuff anyhow.
