Keg at North Hop. It pours lightly hazy deep brown with a medium beige head. The aroma is rich, woody, whisky, vanilla, dried fruits, fruit cake, fruit loaf, marzipan, light permanent marker pen and earth. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, leather, wood, earth, whisky, fruit cake, drying tannins, dried plum, warming alcohol, marker pen, chewy malt and dirt with a warming booze finish. Medium - full body and fine carbonation. Rich and rather interesting. A bit chewy and drying though. Interesting.
