Cask at The Three Judges. It pours clear deep amber - brown with a thick light tan head. The aroma is brown bread, earth, wood, toasted nut, some dried fruits and leather. The taste is dry, bitter, wood, leather, berry skin, peppery spice, slightly vinous aspect, hint of acidity and light toast with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. OK traditional-styled ale.
