Bottle. It pours a clear, brown body and a minimal sized light beige head. Some oxidation on the nose, with coffee and some chocolate. Smooth on the palate, medium to full body and a flavor of chocolate and coffee, quite a lot of coffee actually. A pleasant, tasteful and easy drinkable beer, especially the coffee flavor is nice. 111105

Again heavy stuff from Alcazar: Bottle: Pitch black with a bubbly fast disappearing head. Sweet vinous, roas, liquirice, coffee. Soft mouthfeel - though body is very thin. Sweet , sugary/vinous. Tasty for a 6% porter!

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy, dark brown with an orange glow and a small, beige head. Some smokiness in the nose. Rather full-bodied with sweetish, roasted malt and a whiff of peaty smoke and some coffee accents. The bitterness is discreet. Pleasant. 030807

Bottle, 6.0%. The aroma has a little cardboard. Almost black colour. The flavour starts off OK, but turns a little sour. Has a good roasted aftertaste, but the sourness ruins it for me.

Bottled. Clear dark brown. Strong cocoa aroma. Dryish and fairly soft with some tobacco and chocolate. Medium bodied. Diminated by intense cocoa flavour all the way through to the tarry finish. Interesting and tasty, although perhaps not very complex.
