Cask at Four Thieves. It pours pours pretty much black with a small tan head. The nose is rich coffee, rich roasted malts, bitter - sweet, coffee cake, earth and a touch of treacle. The taste is bitter - sweet, espresso coffee, mild acidity, charred wood, umami, salted liquorice and a touch of ash with a dry, roasted finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Does what it says on the tin/pump clip. Plenty of coffee. Rather nice.
