Very fresh undercover release: double strong, delicately bitter at 119 IBU but imperially dry-hopped with Polaris, a guy born in Germany but raised in America

Keg at RedRum. It pours clear deep orange-amber with a thick yellow-white head. The nose is rich, bitter-sweet, grassy, pine, resin, musty barnyard and stewed orange citrus. The taste is bitter, piney, toasty grass, alcohol boost, resinous, orange citrus, peppery, good malty base, earth, light soap and orange cake with a lingering bitter-dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Solid hoppy boost-juice.

BOTTLE 50 CL 7,5% abv. Tropical fruit aroma of medium intensity, that becomes more pungent and herbal/piney and malty too. The body feels quite „imperial” with lots of malts, as well as lots of hops. It is so hefty, that I even have doubts that the abv on the label is accurate. Some meaty heavy notes. Light acidity. Really long bitter finish. Well done.
