Cask at North Laine. It pours clear amber with a small beige head. The nose is clear amber with a small beige head. The nose is toasty, bready, orange sponge cake and lemon poppy seed muffin. The taste is toasty, bitter-sweet, dough, earth, orange peel, bergamot and floral notes with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Interesting cask ale with a nod to Germany.
