Cask at Maypole, Cambridge. It pours near black with a small light tan head. The nose is milk chocolate, malteasers, coffee, light roast and biscuit. The taste is bitter-sweet, liquorice, dark fruit, blueberry, light roast, sweet coffee and mild acidity with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Good balance and depth of flavour. An accomplished porter.
