Cask at Wellington, Sheffield. It pours very dark brown with a medium off-white head. The nose is roasted malt, coffee, dark fruit, sticky treacle and toast. The taste is roasty, coffee, bitter earth, liquorice and burnt toast with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A well-rounded and quaffable porter.
