Cask at Devonshire Cat, Sheffield. It pours black with a medium tan head. The nose is earth, liquorice, wood, leather and a burnt buttered toast. The taste is mellow roast, earth, dark fruit, berry, some tanginess (possibly infected?), chalk and cocoa powder with a dry finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. So-so.
