We took our Gold Medal winning Scotch ale and aged it in hand-selected Bourbon barrels. The resulting beer is big and full bodied, with a light sweetness derived from kettle caramelization and dry tannins from the oak. The peated malt dances in the background and the result is a bold beer that is sure to warm you up.

This was pretty delicious on tap at Gingerman per Toms recommendation. Pours ruby brown with nice bourbon nose. Tastes slightly briney, withnred berries, lots of bourbon, plenty of pine, vanilla, and licorice. Not too sweet. Nice beer.
