10 years is an eternity in the music scene. Think about this: The Beatles had a 7 year run as a recording act. Nirvana changed the face of rock in a mere 5 years; heck, 10 years is longer than Ozzy’s stint as the lead singer of Black Sabbath!
It goes without saying that August Burns Red’s album Leveler is a persevering piece of metalcore mastery, and 2021 marks 10 years since its release!

With today’s beer, we bang our heads and salute the services of a decade in down-tunage with this malty, hoppy Red Ale made by the fine brew crew at Elder Pine!

Leveler Red Ale is as big and bold as a breakdown at the outro — Simcoe and Columbus Hops headline citrusy flavors with piney and floral aromatics. A supporting cast of Golden Oats and Biscuit Rye add malty honey flavors that hold up the screaming guitar solo of hop juice.

16 oz can from Kramer, thanks bud, 6/15/21. Caramel-amber pour, mostly clear, off white head. Strong lace. Earth, resin, pine. Some light spice. Citrus / grapefruit. Light toffee. Really nice feel. Tasty beer.
