Impressions of: Noble Spice, Orange Blossom, Golden Biscuit.
It offers a pleasant expression of rye, lending a bright spice and mild grassy impression. It finishes crisp with mild citrus and herbal undertones.
West Crib is named after the former corn and grain storage area on the left (west) side of our century old Corn Crib barn, now our brewhouse.
This lager is made with estate grain from two family farms, Mecca Grade on the West Coast in Oregon and Wheatland Spring in Virginia.
Marrying farming and brewing is at the heart of our approach we call Land Beer. This focus provides us with the highest quality ingredients and allows us the opportunity to create beer that expresses agricultural character, or terroir. West Crib is made in partnership with our buddy Seth’s farm in Oregon, Mecca Grade, that shares our understanding of grain expression in beer.

16oz pour at Roost pours a hazy orange with creamy white head. Gristy nose, corn, bread dough, yeast. Flavor has all that, doughy, some lemon now, some herbs, tea. Finishes creamy and a little tannic. 7 5 7 5 14
