This Jameson Barrel Aged IPA leads in with a very attractive deep golden hue with highlights of straw running throughout. Complex herbal and spicy aromas are complimented by fruity floral notes coupled with faint grapefruit and candied orange contributed from both Willamette and Chinook hops.

A welcoming warmth on the pallet is due to keeping primary fermentation temperatures low which helps keep the high alcohol content of this beer in check and that lends to the smoothness of this 11% ale.
