Many thanks to kevnic2008 for this sample! Dark but sweetish nose. The beer starts malty, but sweetish. Not too dry, not Schwarzbier-typical. Even for a "Dunkles" I would say it is too sweetish with too less roasted malt. Hints of caramel, but lots of grain with a "dark" malty mouthfeel. Sweetish and slightly dry aftertaste with no real bitterness. Sad Schwarzbier.

Vielen Dank an kevnic2008! Sehr dunkel braunes Bier mit sehr wenig beigem Schaum. Geruch sehr leicht röstmalzig, erdig, gering Kaffee. Geschmack leicht schokoladig, gering röstmalzig, erdig, alle Aromen sind leider schwach.

Very dark brown with small off-white head. Flavour is light roasted malts, dry, coffee, chocolate, little liquorice, bitter and hops.

Draught @ Amadeus Hausbräu, Sophienstrasse 12, 76530 Baden Baden, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.Unclear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, light chocolate, moderate yeasty, sewer. Aroma is very bad .. Initial flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter, middle flavor is moderate sweet and bitter (sewer), finish flavor is moderate chocolate sweet and moderate roasted malt bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Like the pilsner of this brewpub it is way to carbonatet so much that you burp all the time and that is not very nice after drinking this beers since every time i burped i did taste the sewer !
