Brewed with dedication and patiently barrel-aged for an extended period, this barleywine is a true labor of love. Selected bourbon barrels impart complexity, with notes of vanilla and oak blending seamlessly with a concentrated malt character, and luscious mouthfeel. For the best drinking experience, we recommend a serving temperature of 12-14 degrees celcius.

BYG. Black color with no head. Aroma and flavor is alcohol, soy sauce, dried fruit, chocolate, oxidation, coffee, licorice, cocoa. Nice.

En bedre inngang til førjulsgledene enn en hyggelig kveld på Salikatt Taproom kan man neppe få. Etter en parallellsmaking av Christmas on Fire 2024, Resin Rush og Solar Flare (alle fra fat) avslutter jeg med to eksklusive flaskeøl i 10 cl utskjenkinger, under mottoet hensikten med lastene er å holde dydene på et fornuftig nivå. Praktisk talt helt kullsort uten skum. Et forførende brygg preget av mørke dessertchokolader, nybrent espresso, brandymarinerte appelsiner/clementiner, marsipan og årgangsmadeira. Eminent balansert, saftig og viskøs. I det hele tatt en ypperlig farligwine.
