Keg at Mother Kelly’s - London. Pours clearish amber-gold with a frothy, off-white head. The nose holds ripening citrus fruits, crusty pale bread, pine. Light sweet flavour with more semi-ripe citrus character, mellow piney bitterness, some flinty dryness, lightly toasted pale malts. Light bodied with average carbonation. Good balance in the finish, with more piney bitterness, licks of grass, melon, orange rind. Good stuff.

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - amber red with a nice fluffy head. Looks perfect. Nose - redcurrants and oranges. Sweet malt. Taste - tonnes more of the same. It favours red and orange fruit at different points. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long elegant finish. Overall - what a lovely beer. Go the red ales!
