(Keg at Oljenkorsi, 20161216) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had dark chocolate, burnt malts and tartness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were chocolate, tartness, burnt malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had tart berries, chocolate and bitterness. A nice stout in which the lingonberries were bit too dominating.

Tap at One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Colour is cloudy dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, dryness, berries, lingonberries, some distant hints of sourness and roasted malts. I was expecting something very horrible but this one is actually quite drinkable. Nice surprise.

Draught @ One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Pours dark brown, almost black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, licorice, tartish lingonberries, rye, cocoa and coffee. Taste is earthy, slightly roasty and grainy with some hints of tartish lingonberries, coffee, licorice and rye. Finish is ashy, slightly sweetish and mildly tart with some herbal hoppiness, hints of lingonberries, roasty malts, rye and cocoa powder. I’m not a big fan of lingonberries, luckily they are quite subtle here. A bit strange though.
