Bottle. It pours a clear, copper body under a small off-white head. Bready, quite fruity nose. Mostly dried fruits like prunes. Something reminiscent of oxidation, and a hint of toffee as well. The flavor is on the malty side, with bread and toffee, some oxidation, a hint of hazelnuts, some fruity hops and a little bitterness. Bready, bitter finish. Medium body. Far from impressing, and rather boring too. (090422)

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Copper coloured beer, decent off-white head. The aroma has a nice blend of malts and fruity hops, notes of prunes, toffee and some chocolate. The flavour has earthy notes, some malts and fruit, hints of caramel, but the finish is "dusty" and dry with noticeable hops. A very nice bitter.

Biggish beige lasting head. Deep dark red-brown body with light carbonation. Fruity roasty earthy aroma with notes of dried plums, caramel, and chocolate. Dry-sweet earthy dried plums taste with roasty malty chocolate notes. Dry metallic chocolate aftertaste kind of jars with the fruitiness. It’s not bad, but I didn’t enjoy it much. (0.5l bottle, Centra, Oslo.)

(Bottle 50 cl) Neatly clear darkish amber with a fine, creamy head. Looks seem to be this beerโ€™s best feature though, as it hasnโ€™t really got much flavour to offer. Somewhat malty notes, a touch of bitterness and a somewhat metallic edge. Quite ordinary. 290303
