18-05-18 // tap as Brauhaus Helles, and for me it is definitely more a Helles than a Pils, though I dont know why it is alaised on here. Almost clear yellow. White head. Light bodied. Light grainy. Mild grassy, hints of citrus hoppy. Mild bitter. Great Helles!

Draft at the source. Appearance is cloudy yellow with a white head and moderate lacing. Aroma and taste of light malt, mild fruit, and hints of spice. Easy drinking.

Draft at the source. Pours hazy gold with an orange hue. Typical pils malts in the aroma, vague flowery accents. Taste is bittersweet, with overall much less accent on the bitter notes than in a typical pils. Body light to medium. Feels like a Pils mixed with a sweet Bavarian Helles. Refreshing. Okay.

On tap at the brewpub. Leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit einer geringen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig, süß malzig, blumig hopfig. Geschmack süß malzig, Getreide, zum Ende mehr würzig hopfig.

Draught @ Alt-Oberurseler Brauhaus, Alt-Oberurseler Brauhaus, 61440 Oberursel, Hesse, Germany.Unclear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111111]

Herb-bitterer Antrunk, leichter Hopfen, angenehm. Dann ist die Bitterkeit etwas erdig, was nicht so ganz passt. Dann setzt sich der Hopfen wieder stärker durch. Gut. 12/12/11/11//11

Hazy blond color, with compact head. Mild malt aroma. Malt flavor, quite sweet, with correct bitterness, and just a grassy hop touch. Pleasant, although easy.
2010-08-29, draught at the brauhaus, 7-3-7-4-15=36
Cloudy blond color; creamy head. The aroma is light, a bit lemony in the beginning, then some noble hop appears. The mouthfeel is dry, good complement for the fresh and crispy malt; the bitterness is quite strong, and the hopping is well aromatic. Very satisfying; excellent Pilsner.

(on tap at the brewpub) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a small but stable cremy white head. Sweet and slightly greenish wort-malty aroma with a light touch of herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a sharp and quite fizzy carbonation. Malt-accented and worty taste with a light herbal blend; sweet and slightly bitter, also quite fizzy finish with a tinge of herbal hops shining through. Still drinkable but surely no highlight. 08.12.07

Draught Bright gold, fluffy off-white head. Very dry grainy-malty nose with a soupçon of hops. Dry, straw/hay like Pilsner. Not hoppy, but full malty. A bit more bitterness in the finish. Light to medium body; MF is a bit burning in the ending. Good malty Pilsner, better than average.
