Tasted at one of the Vilvordia Bierproeffestivals and apparently made for the fire department of Hasselt (which also has a gin made for them). Thick cream white head, hazy golden blonde colour. Weakish aroma, bready, green apple, grainy, grassy along with some plastic-like solvents. Dry and fairly neutral taste, restrained fruitiness, minerals, bit grainy with grassy hops in the finish and retronasal ’chemicality’ (rubber). I cannot say I enjoyed this.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours golden with some tiny impurities and an off-white head. Intensely fruity nose with quite some hops and esters. Solid body, heavily fruity with loads of white sugars and a surprisingly hoppy finish. 261111

Bottle. It’s a slightly sedimented beer, else clear, golden in color and with a small, white head. A nice hoppyness in the aroma, with grass and pine cones. Fruityness and some maltyness too. Some warmth in the mouth, full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. Fruity and rather bitter, with an underlying malty touch. White sugar too, but not too much. Mostly bitter and fruity in the end. A quite decent beer. 111126

Good, yellow-amberish tinted head, stable; over hazy straw-golden beer. Chalk upon opening, CO², grass, and (deep)frying oil. Dry-bitterish on a (pale) malty-background. Reasonable balance. Grassy/spicy hops, and again a point of (vegetable) frying oil returning. Medium bodied, very light alcoholwarming, slick. Quite reasonable beer, nothing special.
