Can with a code, but nothing that can be construed as a date, drunk 8/4/25.
Glassy, pale brass-bronze. Large, off-white head, moderate retention.
Certainly well-hopped and expressive of the Hallertauer. A big, fresh herbal bouquet rounded out by honey-like malt and a bit of bread/biscuit. Clean. Smells a bit overly malty, not so crisp and snappy/mineralesque on the finish. But it's not always easy to translate the nose to flavor....
Does sort of translate that way, however, as big bread and sweet honey notes immediately collect on the palate, on the finish. There's some bitterness, not a lot, and just not as much crisp, snappy, lager character and overall dryness as I'd prefer, on the finish. Malts are a bit muddled/doughy, as well. Beer is clean, though.

Aromas are malt, dry grain, with a little hops and yeast. Flavors are similar to nose, bittersweet, decent body and carbonation. Satisfying. Nothing special but very drinkable.

7/10
Bit extra malty for what I'd expect from a German pils but not bad

Lemon, biscuit malt, and grass/fresh hay aroma. Slightly hazy pale yellow with large white head and moderate effervescence. Moderately sweet lemon, creamy biscuit malt, and mildly bitter grass flavor. Okay body.

Pours golden with good head and lacing. Lots of caramel in the finish. Soap bubbles. Tap at Snally.

Draft at Snallygaster 2024. Poured a clear yellow-orange color, white head. Aroma was light sweet, toasty malts. Light grassy notes, light floral hops. Pleasant, easy to drink.
