Bottled. A hazy light yellow mead. The aroma has notes of honey and wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey, straw, and spices, leading to a dry and tart finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours yellow with a slight haze. Flowery honey aroma. Medium body, dry and floral, some almond notes but also an edge of glue. Ends dry and almost bitter. Unusual - but not as bad as the Italian dude claims... 071011

Corked bottle from the producer
L1106A on the back label and L1006H on the front label (5 years old?)
Measured Final Gravity: 1001
The color is a pale yellow; there is a thin deposit in the bottle. Quite strong honey aroma and some mold. The mouthfeel is semi-dry, with evident, generic, floral honey flavor; there is some unpleasant bitterness and a pungent alcohol presence; also some tannins and wood in the end.
Unstylish; plain.
