Made with Lager yeast and fermented cold, it offers a crisp and refreshing body that’s ridiculously refreshing on a warm afternoon.
Tasting Notes
But it also boasts a delicious richness, and those mouthwatering notes of dark chocolate, caramel, and pumpernickel bread that hit the spots once the night gets a little chilly.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brown with a transient dark tan head. Aroma of dark bread and chocolate. Med body or better. Not dry. Moderately bitter. Flavor is dark bread/toffee with some chocolate and a light touch of smoke. Nice brew.

16 oz can. Rich flavor of chocolate, molasses, roasted earthy grain. Medium plus in body with a roasty finish. Bolder body, full and rich.

Can shared by CLW--thanks, Chris! as part of "No two styles alike tasting." Opaque black with thin head fading to ring, trace lacing. Aroma is strong earthy roasted malt, pumpernickel/brown bread. Taste is strong earthy, roasted malt, brown bread/pumpernickel, toffee, dark chocolate. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Nice version of the style.

Poured a very dark cola color, wispy tan head. Aroma was big dar malts, light chocolate, mild bready notes. Flavor was toasted and roasted malts, beady, light chocolate. At a DCBeer share.
